Travelling from Europe and the UK by ferry

Waterford City is just one hour's drive from Rosslare ferryport, where Irish Ferries serve Pembroke in Britain all year round and Cherbourg and Roscoff in France on a seasonal basis.

Stena Line operate a daily scheduled service between Rosslare and Fishguard in Britain. Dungarvan is a 40 minute drive west of Waterford City.

Irish Ferries operate a daily scheduled service between Dublin Port and Holyhead and Stena Line serve Holyhead from Dun Laoghaire. Both Dublin and Dun Laoghaire are a 2 hour drive from Waterford City.

Cork ferryport serves Roscoff in France on a seasonal basis via Brittany Ferries. The port is 1 hour from Dungarvan and under 2 hours to Waterford City. Larne ferryport serves Stranraer in Britain. The port is 4.5 hours from Waterford City.

P&O European Ferries operate a daily scheduled service between Larne and Cairnryan and Stena Line serve Stranraer from Belfast on a similar basis.
