Marinas & Moorings

The Waterford Marina consists of 2 floating pontoons connected to the quayside by gangways. Located near Reginalds Tower, The Quay, Waterford. Venue for the 2005 Tall Ships Race.

Dunmore East is an attractive fishing port and resort in the River Suir Estuary.

Seaside Resorts

The Celtic Sea, that part of the Atlantic which touches and shapes the Waterford coast, has created a coastline of rugged beauty, along which is dotted the popular seaside resorts at Tramore and Annestown are both fine locations for surfing,

Those who love water head for the major seaside resort of Tramore which boasts a 5km long sandy beach, where there is surf coaching conducted by Tramore Surf Club, a 20ha Amusement Park with pleasure pond, and the ever popular heated and enclosed Splashworld.

The Copper Coast offers stunning views, rocky outcrops, and countryside all set against the backdrop of the Comeragh Mountains, at Bunmahon, Stradbally and Clonea.

Further west is the historic resort of Ardmore.

The beaches at Ardmore, Bunmahon, Clonea and Counsellor's Strand, Dunmore East are all EU Blue Flag Beaches and are renowned for their superb water quality as well as their very pretty settings.

River Valley Resorts

The resorts of Cappoquin, Lismore and Ballyduff are nestled under the Knockmealdown Mountains and enjoy beautiful settings in the Blackwater Valley.

Ballymacarbry is scenically set in the Nire Valley and is the focal point for all those visiting the Comeragh Mountains.
