Cheekpoint

Waterford EstuaryA pleasant fishing village, set on a headland above the confluence of the rivers Suir and the twin Rivers Barrow and Nore. The area has a long and rich maritime history.

Above the village is Faithlegg Forest, where the walker enjoys wonderful panoramas over the Suir Estuary and nearby Faithlegg Golf Club.

The views and local sea food restuarants and pubs en route make a trip to this village a must.
